I'm looking for people to be contributors to this site. I don't have the time to do it by myself and thus it's been back-burnered. I want that to change though.

So here's the deal. If you write an article that I use on the site you get a free Powered by The Vegan Straightedge t-shirt. First come, first served. I have 23* shirts left. I'm not printing anymore for the foreseeable future. They're not going "out of print" forever, but for now they are. This is your chance to get one.

LIMIT 1 SHIRT PER PERSON. You get one shirt with your first published article. You can continue to contribute more articles if you want though. The hope is that people will become regular contributors.

Right now the site is only really interviews with people and bands, both using a fixed list of questions. I'd like this site to be much much more. Profiles of people and bands and groups. Upcoming and recounts of past events. Restaurants. Recipes. Videos. Whatever. The idea is to highlight vegan and/or straightedge things and people. And to not focus on just the music and shows. Some music stuffs is fine, but our community is so much more than just a rock-n-roll show.

Who are you? Who in the band is vegan and/or straightedge?

I am Greg. I sing for Between Earth and Sky, Trial, and With This We Fill The Silence.

I have lost track of who is what, but most everyone in all three projects is vegetarian at the every least, if not vegan, and most are straightedge.

Where are you from?

I live in Seattle, WA.

How did you form?

Trial formed in 1995 as a result of Derek and Timm and I wanting to do a socially conscious hardcore band with an old school feel. Between Earth and Sky formed in 2001 after Trial ended. With This We fill The Silence formed last month with the desire to bring hardcore to remote places on the earth.

Batman or Spider-Man?

Spiderman, circa 1977 in the cartoons.

What are you currently listening to?

Alkaline Trio, Morrissey, Between Earth and Sky demos.

What (besides music) are you into right now?

Practicing juggling, Zoe Boysen, communicating effectively with words.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change?

I would write a book years ago, and would have learned to play guitar and cello and bass, and speak languages other than English.

What are your plans for the near and distant future?

Write books, make films, finish the Between Earth and Sky record.

If you made me a mixtape, what would be the first song it?

Immortal "One By One"

Why do you keep doing it?

Communicating? Because its an essential life component to me regardless of the form it takes.
